TV seems to have good color. I have had plasma's until now...so too early to tell much as I have only had it about 2 weeks. Seems like a good tv, not sure it is a "wow" tv. No book or details on settings, which are somewhat confusing and not overly intuitive, and thus having to get on the website to find out what settings mean, available adjustments, etc., which is a hassle. I hung on a wall, but the feet are ridiculous for this unit... Would recommend waiting until price drops, not sure it is worth the retail listings right now.
Been using this tv for about 1 month and we could not be happier and more impressed. Brilliant picture, vibrant but not artificial looking colors, quick start up when turning it on, quick channel changes - you do not have to wait while changing stations for them to come in, surprised that the sound was so good as well. A little less intuitive than Sony's in the past when it comes to learning how to use the set but was still relatively easy. I have owned a few Sony tv's in the past as well as a lot of other Sony electronics, cameras, etc. This tv is what keeps me buying Sony's.
I have had this great television for 2 months now and every time I turn it on I am amazed at the pure blacks, the sharpness, the great 3D, the huge selection of controls and apps, and the easy to use remote. I have been to many stores to see many televisions and I can't recommend this one any higher than I am. EXTREMELY happy customer.
