I love the clarity and display on this model I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality as well I have been a Sony fan always and the don’t disappoint Highly recommend this model
I bought this TV because my 2-year-old version of this TV just turns itself off for no reason and I can't always get it to turn back on, and rarely with the remote. I have to unplug it and then wait, sometimes as long as a day or more, before it will restart. I've reset it back to factory settings seventies but to no avail. So this time I got an extended warranty because my non-smart Sony TVs used to last for more than a decade. I am hoping this one will be as reliable as my old non-internet TVs.

Hi wifier13,
We regret to hear that you're having issues with this unit. Let's try to isolate the issue by following some troubleshooting steps included on this link:
Sony should not advertise hands free google home integration on their televisions unless they actually work. I have a brand new sony x900f with android and google assistant, I also have several google home minis and google home speakers. Now you would think that an android tv and google home would be a seamless process to configure and work together, of you thought that you would be wrong. No only does google home not control the tv, but to make it even worse I had to buy a chromecast dongle to make google home work with my chromecast built in tv to make it just turn on and off with voice control. The flip side of this is that Alexa controls almost all functions with little set up. I 2ould have been better off buying a non android tv and saving a few bucks on these useless features, no one wants to talk to their remote...

Hi Rekleiner23, thank you very much for taking the time to share your concerns with us. Sony takes the voice of our customers very seriously and hearing all feedback - good and bad is important to us. We appreciate your feedback. Regards, ^Ron
Bought this TV a few months ago. While it has been a mostly good experience, Android TV freezes and crashes pretty on occasion. Prime Video stutters. There's no YouTubeTV app. So I'm short, I like the TV, but Google and Sony need to improve Android TV.
So we have always had Sony TVs and this one continues the tradition of an awesome viewing experience. The researched I did on what is the best screen proved to be right on the mark. We have enjoyed it from day one and at a month we still are immensely super satisfied. Crystal clear viewing; almost as if you are right there!
