I recently purchased a 55 inch X900F. There were some HD TV units cheaper than this model but the image quality on the demo unit was compelling. I am glad I purchased this model. It has relatively small foot print, may be slightly thicker then some models by Samsung. Installation is easy, I wall mounted my unit without any issue. Setup is also pretty straight forward. Most important thing is the image quality; processing is swift there is no lag while watching HD content. Coming to HD content, I tried both HDR and Dolby Vision and I have to admit Dolby Vision is way better than HDR. Supplied remote is pretty much a standard stuff. It has built in Chromecast, I haven’t used it as I use my Apple TV with it. I use it with a sound bar but the built in speakers are better than my prior LG unit. Overall, I am very happy with the device.

I purchased this when my older Sony lcd tv started to die as all faces has red lines. My old Sony weighs over 85 pounds. This TV weighs about 22 pounds, very thin, easy to set up although the web update took 25 minutes. I like the feet of the tv open up in the back so the cords are hidden. The picture is bright, clear, sharp, almost looks fake compared to my previous tv. HD shows are awesome to watch, no blurry noise during motion, and the built in speakers do this tv justice, sound is clear and loud. Mine is connected to my FIOS box via HD cable and so glad the install was simple. I think anyone can connect this tv and have it up and running in no time. The web apps are interesting but I have not investigated enough to comment. Very satisfied and plan to stay with Sony for a long, long time.

I have owned this tv for about a month now. It puts out a beautiful picture with both compressed cable content and especially HDR content.
My only small complaint is the “blooming” on certain content, but I know no tv technology is perfect.
I have no regrets for buying this tv. Usual Sony quality.

I purchased this believing it to be full 4K UHD as stated on the box. I also bought a 4K Bluray player at the same time. Upon attempting to play a 4K disk or a regular DVD the picture was sometimes scrambled. Per Sony's web site, it turns out this TV is not 24P compatible which is needed for true 4K. To make it work, I had to turn change the deep color to off on both the TV and the Blueray player. This changes the settings to 60P which is not full 4K. I would have returned it but had to destroy the cartin to remove it from our car. The picture quality is great but not true 4K. I will bew giving all ratings a 4 Star as it was not as listed on the carton.
