I 've been a SONY owner for the last 30 years... and very few disappointments. my last set failed after 9 years while my 2 previous sets were still running when I sold them... so I spent more than I wanted to but so far it's been a great picture and fairly easy to use apps.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sound crackling

I've had this for a since October and although the 4k display was jumpy, I didn't watch much of that content so I decided to live with it. Now the sound crackles. Cable, Wi-Fi, or lan, it doesn't matter.

Great Picture, Some Faults

Beautiful picture! Unfortunately, mediocre sound lacking clarity, and Android tv is awkward. Also, no word from Sony as to upgrading with Apple TV app—a must for those in the Apple world. Was going to buy 3 more sets, but halted awaiting news on Apple app upgrades and availability on new Sony’s. May be forced to shift to Samsung or LG!

Just what the doctor (me) ordered!

I've had mine for about 2 years. Proud to say that with the audio connected to my Bose system I enjoy what I consider the best that I can ever need. With Netflix built in and other "smart" features, I feel that I will never need more entertainment devices. The 55" is perfect for my room. The colors and sharpness are top notch. Just as an aside I still have my old SONY Trinitron that has been made digital and it still works like new.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this Tv 3years ago and for some reason i can download apps like HBO, Peakock Tv and reasons stated are either its not available in my country or version not compatible with Tv.

I bought this TV 3 years ago, and it suddenly quit working today. For what Sony charges for their TV's; They should last longer than 3 years!
