This TV is 5 star. Period. When reading the reviews on this site be sure to check the dates; Most issues and complaints, were fixed in an update.
This TV is an excellent entry level 4K tv for a mid size room, gamers, or connecting to a PC for music/graphic design. Its also super light weight and can fit in any car (assuming your doing a 55 or below). I use this TV strictly for gaming and nothing else: No cable, no sports, etc...
I can't say anything negative about this TV, but there are some FYI's for all you tech snobs:
1. When looking at the TV from an angle, the TV will get a slight grey tint. Not a big deal for me because its only myself and my girl. If you have multiple people watching the TV at the same time, you may want to go up in size (im using a 49").
2. Out of the 4 HDMI ports, only 2 of them are HDR (4K) and they're on the SIDE of the TV.
3. The base of the TV is plastic and feels very cheapish. Not a big deal to me.
4. Unlike most remotes, you have to point this remote DIRECTLY at the TV or else you will not get a response. Some people have complained about the TV being sluggish... its not sluggish, your just pointing the remote too far to the left or right. Another issue with the remote is the arrow pads. They're placed close to the ACTION option buttons so you will tend to press that button first. It will take some getting used. You'll see what I mean.
5. Sony's UI is not the most intuitive. Theres a couple of important submenus that will be hard to find own your own. Check out some youtube vids...
6. Don't install too many google apps on your TV. If you have a samsung or android phone, you already know how apps tend to crash. I personally believe, the data from such apps will have an affect on the TV. Just Keep it simple.
I actually bought a Samsung Qled tv prior to this and returned it for this model of tv. I love that it is android based and I can utilize all of the apps I am accustomed to using. The picture quality is awesome, sound is ok. Overall I am extremely happy that I decided to return the Samsung and purchase this model.
I really wanted to love this tv. it does a lot of things very good however the blooming and clouding on my particular unit is just horrible to the point that it distracts me from enjoying the content that I watch on it. I understand that there will always be some degree of blooming on a led tv however like I said previously this is the worst I have ever encountered. I have seen far less blooming on cheaper budget brands that use the same f.a.l.d technology. I don’t know if it’s the algorithm which if it is please sony improve it ..or if I have a defective unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Pasieden, we regret that the TV failed to meet your expectations. Kindly send us an email at socialsupport@am.sony.com including my name and this feedback post in the email. Hope to hear from you.
Love the picture the tv produces and the built in speakers are amazing. TV produces good colors and I have seen very little blooming issues in dark scenes. I have messed with the setting several times and believe I found the best settings and I am very happy with my purchase. Pros: -Picture quality -Sound -Input selection -Well built
Cons: -The only real issue I have had with the tv is the HDMI 3 input going wonky and require a hard reset of the tv. I swapped out devices and HDMI cords and got the same result on the HDMI 3 input. I tried the other inputs and the picture was fine. When I did a hard reset the issue was fixed. This has happened two times since owning the tv. Other then the only con I have I am very pleased with the TV. This TV replaced a 50 inch Plasma TV and I honestly think the picture is as good as a Plasma, but its not better. Maybe an OLED TV might beat a Plasma, but that price was out of reach.
