I purchased two 49 inch 900f Sony 4k one month ago. With so many manufacturers and various models available, I based my decision on other reviews I read and taking into consideration my home environment. So far I am thrilled. Color is very accurate and over all, very pleased.

Hi Ahgb,
Thank you for sharing this positive review. We appreciate your time sharing this feedback. Thank you for choosing Sony.
All I can say is WOW! I have an older Sony 49” (2011)TV that still looks great. But is nowhere near as clear and crisp as the x900F. Watching TV in 4K HDR Dolby vision is incredible! Thanks Sony!

Hi Kratos 1962,
We are glad you love our X900F 4K HDR TV. The TV is packed with an array of technologies to deliver an awe-inspiring 4K HDR picture. With Full Array Local Dimming and our powerful X1 Extreme processor, you get to enjoy deeper black levels, greater contrast, and stunning clarity. And, our TRLUMINOS Display delivers smooth and vibrant colors.
I bought this TV a month ago, I am pretty picky about the sharp focus of picture, best is the lines on peoples foreheads, this set shows them up very good.!
This unit replaced an 12 year old SONY Bravia that was still running. So much clearer picture. Bright and clear picture. So many new features makes this a great TV!
Purchased this yesterday; brought it home and set it up. Very easy for one person and once it was in place, plugged in the Roku stick, plugged the TV in and turned it on. Very easy to set the TV up; just follow the on screen instructions. The picture is great, clear and crisp. Sony continues to be number one in my opinion.
Bought this tv as a replacement for an older model Sony.
Setup: Setup is simple. Follow the promps, login to WiFi/LAN, sign into a Google account or create one.
Menus: Menus are handled on separate screens. The only improvements I’d suggest is allowing the user to bring up a menu without changing the screen they’re currently watching.
Picture: The picture is beautiful. The colors are sharp and bright, the blacks are deep and dark and the backlighting keeps a great balance of both. There are many different settings for gamers and movie watchers. This is one of the main reasons I tend to buy Sony. The TVs I’ve had-l900f included-don’t suffer from motion blur. Which can be distracting to many viewers.
Audio: I use a sound bar. I offer zero input for audio.
Apps: Apps function like using a cellphone. Download the app, login, use the app. Since I’m still new to the 900F I’m not sure if there’s a way to customize the order of the apps yet. I can say that, even after installing all the updates I’m having issues with apps freezing. Sometimes this causes the tv to stop responding all together. I’ve had to unplug the 900F twice because it stopped responding to the controller and wasn’t able to turn the tv off normally nor was I able to change out of the app.
