After having this TV for about 9 months 1 of the HDMI ports does not work and there is now a green line going all the way down the right side of the screen when watching the TV. I spent alot of hard earned money on this TV and I am very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was a sent as a replacement for a defective purchase and continues to have the same problem. I have checked source material on other Televisons and experimented with sources and the SONY is definitely the problem. A small, BRIGHT white line appears at the bottom (disappears if you feed lower quality (720, 480) but the point is to have 1080, right? Not sure why they cannot get this right

This was am early Christmas gift. It is bigger, brighter and better than what we had and we thoroughly enjoy it. The colors and pictures are bright and distinct
