dipping my toe in the pool

A friend of mine who has a high-end home theater recommended that I try studio monitors for my new PC speakers.
I debated between the JBL 306p Mark ii the JBL 305p Mark ii and another brand.
Ultimately I went with the JBL 305p Mark ii.
They sound great!
If JBL wants to be super cool they can send me a LSR3105 to try and review and keep.
If they choose to bless me with such a kind gesture I would be sure to continue buying their products as I expand my theater over time.
The speakers sound great.
My audio is lossless and I have some background in high quality audio.

Love them (when they work)

Had these for years as my main "home studio" monitors and I love them. Solid, consistent budget monitors. However in the last year or so the speakers will randomly shut off (usually related to a power surge) and refuse to turn back on for several hours.
When they work, they're great! But this one issue keeps coming up and I haven't been able to find a solution, so I have to drop the rating to reflect that.

Poor build quality and product quality

Poor build quality and product quality. I am unimpressed with the quality of the product. My speakers sound different from each other. Monitor your product quality and don't do this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Outstanding JBL 305P MKII

Purchased two JBL 305P MKII studio monitors for a computer room studio, driven by external DAC and Amplifier with HI-RES flac wav source music files. I am really enjoying the outstanding high fidelity sound.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very pleased

I had the LSR305. And wanted to build my surround sound setup. So I got a front wall set for my home studio. LCR are all JBL305 mkii and I sent my LSR305 to the rear. I am please with the sound and the new boundary EQ setting on them. And at the moment I have the LSR310s out since I am re treating my room since I moved.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Muffled Sound

Speakers sound went muffled after using it for 2 months. Terrible quality speaker wont be buying jbl products again as this is not the first product to blow on me in such a short period of time.
