[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently started using a Smooth Edge Can Opener, and it’s been a game-changer. This can opener is designed to cut along the side of the can, eliminating sharp edges, which I find incredibly reassuring, especially when cooking with kids around. It’s user-friendly and requires minimal effort.

I never had a can opener that needed instructions until now. It clips on easily enough and it is super smooth to turn. However, once it makes a full circle around the can, you'll need to use these tiny nippers on the can opener to grab the edge of the can and lift it off. NOTE: the top may not come off easily even though it is cut all around. You may need to exert some pressure to remove the top and if you're not careful (at first), you may have some spillage. Also, I can imagine it would be hard for someone with smaller hands to hold a large can while levering off the top. Watch a you tube video about it before purchase. Other than that, it's a cool different can-opener.

Easy to use. No scared of cutting into fingers. No need to use much strength. No spill. Even the price is a bit higher than others but it is really different.

Best Can Opener

I bought one of these years ago and it is still going strong, working perfectly. I bought this new one for my granddaughter who never used any other one but mine. She is thrilled. I tried to find this model in a store, actually multiple stores but couldn't find one. As usual I went directly to your company and I am very happy I did. Thank you for an excellent product.

Does not work - the blade and turn gear regularly misaligned

This does not work at all. The gear and the blade are misaligned and does nothing but spin the can around without actually cutting into it! My cheap smooth can opener works consistently and is 1/3 the price
