brand new issues

We waited for a brand new dryer. We got it delivered and within 3 weeks it was making strange noises. We had GE come out and they never lubed the bearings. How do you forget to do that?

Not happy with the quality control at the factory. We had to wait OVER two weeks to get a repairman out to our home to fix our new dryer that NEVER worked from day one. He found that the factory failed to connect the wires to the heating element. It now is working great but we were VERY DISAPOINTED that we could not use a brand new dryer for so long.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice dryer

I'm glad to have a new dryer with these features such as it buzzes when it's dry and continues to tumble to prevent clothes from wrinkling. I wish that I had chosen a larger dryer because I had it on 70 minutes and some items were not completely dry.

No problems with this dryer

Dryer is quiet and has all the settings I might need. Clothes come out wrinkle free. A breeze compared to my old dryer that I was constantly second guessing and having clothes dried too hot or not dry enough.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Older model was superior

I purchased this model as it was previously the only one that would for in my shallow “laundry closet”. I live in a condominium and space is an issue. The previous model fit well. This model was made with more “rounded” features and the result is that I cannot open or close the sliding doors to the “laundry closet” without scratching the front of the machine each time. in addition, it does not dry as well as the earlier version of the same machine.
Unfortunately, this is the only full sized dryer that can (almost) fit in my space
