We have now purchased 2 of these and both have only been good for one ride. The chain comes off as soon as it is used for the second time. It is an incredible undertaking to take this whole thing apart to fix it. It isn’t as simple as a bike chain. For the money we have spent it should not ever have these problems if used correctly, as we have.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So much fun

We bought it for my son’s 8th birthday. He was a little reluctant and first because it is fast and does require a bit of practice to get the hang of it, now we can’t get him off of it.
My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because the chain keeps popping off and it is not a simple fix to pop it back on. It requires opening up the front by removing screws which delays the fun.

Chain doesn't stay on - don't buy

My daughter has used this product for less than a total of 30 minutes and the chain has come off more than 5 times. it has taken me longer to take it apart and fix the chain than she has ridden it. i would not recommend.

Cool concept but not built for use. Chain falls off the second you hit a bump (even a rock on the road). Not easy to put chain back on either, need to completely disassemble. Returned it only to receive a new one with the same problem. Weeks of disappointment for the little one. Should have read the reviews first!

battery problem
