I bought this fridge about four months agao and Im very unhappy with it...I thought being the brand it was it was going to be awesome !!! Its freezer section on the left is very very small and hard to get to my items..BUT my number one complaint is the ICE maker motor is too small and slow...The reason I bought his brand and type to begin with here in Arizona... The ice maker is horrid...The outside is hard to clean with products..Always has some streak..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Side by Side on the market

Two reasons for buying this GE Side by Side:
1 - it is replacing another GE side by side from 1998 - 16 years of great service
2 - after much research and store visits, this had everything and more for features:
* large capacity ice maker (not in door, which clogs/jams due to design in door) and an easy to use dispenser (other mfrs are not easy to use; you'd break the glass pressing on some!)
* good looks inside and out - space saving drawers and bottle racks
* had to be side/side, not the dumpster drawer of a freezer on most models
* It's a GE

Nice fridge!

Overall a good fridge with a large ice maker capacity. I do wish that when you select ice or water in the door that the labels were back lit so that you can see what you are selecting at night.

GREAT 2 DOOR FRIDGE

I REALLY PREFER THE FRIDGES WITH 2 DOORS AND 2 DRAWERS, BUT I DID NOT GET THAT CHOICE WITH THE PURCHASE FO MY NEW HOME. I ENJOY THIS FRIDGE THOUGH. IT FITS ALL MY FOOD AND DRINKS VERY WELL, AND WITH THE PROPER STAINLESS STEAL CLEANER IT IS NOT DIFFICULT TO KEEP CLEAN.
