Not enough freezer space and the ice cubes melt together to make one big ice cube and are very hard to break up. The refrigerator has less space than the one we use to own.

HATE this product!

My husband bought this fridge as a 'surprise' a month ago. Surprise! It's HORRIBLE!! At the recommended temperature settings, our vegetables literally FREEZE. The freezer basket is small and things fall out of the back easily. The water disperser is INSIDE the fridge - ridiculous design! I absolutely HATE this product and am trying to return it.

Poorly designed appliance from top to bottom

I bought this a month ago and I am so sorry that I did. The biggest complaint I have is with the poorly designed pullout freezer. The large bin is not sectioned nor are moveable dividers provided, so that anything placed in it becomes part of a big jumble. The small drawer next to the ice bin is small. There is wasted space underneath the ice bin / pullout shelf unit -another pullout shallow bin could have been added. Basically, you are pulling everything out of the freezer everytime you open it and then you are taking every out to find the item you need. Such a waste of energy.
In the refrigerator section, the "adjustable" full width shelf is flimsy and sags with just the barest amount of items placed on it. The "adjustable" shelves in the refrigerator section cannot be fully customized in placement because of the skimpy shelf brackets at the back of the refrigerator that do not allow positioning closer to the bottom. The 2 bottom drawers are "sticky" and do not move easily if there are items on the flimsy shelf above that causes it to "sag". There is wasted space on the door - another bin or 2 would be helpful. The dairy bin with the door is pretty useless - it does not accomodate an egg carton unless it is cut in half - and then there is still wasted space above it.
Beware if you find this refrigerator on a "deal". It is not.

Reliability and repair

Ice machine needed to be looked at 3 times. Main board was replaced and it seems OK for now. Then compressor became very noisy. I asked repair man, what do I need to do to have GE replace this via lemon law. He said they wont and buy a new one... I will buy a new one, and it wont be GE...

We have had our fridge for about 3 months and couldn't be happier. We spent several weeks researching which fridge to buy and are very happy with our decision. The size & storage are great. Love the clean look with the interior water.

We have had this refrigerator for about 2 months now and we really like it. We like the fact the the freezer section is at the bottom of the unit. The double doors are nice. You only have to open one side to reach items on that side. Either door can open at anytime.
