Good pen but needs work

The pen feels good in the hand and functions well; however, the large tip makes fine drawing a challenge to outright impossible. The pen is pressure sensitive, but only in certain apps. For instance it is not pressure sensitive when using OneNote. Additionally, the functionality of the two key setup is hit and miss for what apps it will work with. Considering this was Samsung's first try at competitively competing with Micrsosoft Surface Pro it is good overall. I would definitely recommending getting this pen if you have the Galaxy Tab Pro S.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The galaxy tab pro s only accepts this pen and it turns out that it doesnt even work. At first it worked ok, but seting it up was a nightmare. The pen did not come with any instructions on set up. You have to down load the galaxy tabpro pen manager form Samsung update and another program. The only problem is that this program no longer shows up in samsung update so there is no way to download it now. these pens were working fine until there was an update and suddenly two of my pens stoped working on the same day. They wont even pair with the tablet and the pen manager app says the are not paired aswell. they just continue to blink blue and red and wont even turn off after 10 min now.

Impossible to figure out

I had to go on another site and look at reviews to figure out how to even connect it to the TabPro S. I got it connected and working, and it was pretty good... Then I let the charge run out. I recharged it, and it says it's connected, but it won't work. If I press and hold the button, it flashes, so I tried deleting and re-pairing it. It says connected again. It doesn't work, and no lights come on. I paid over 60 dollars to use this for a half hour. I can't find ANY support other than user reviews on the other site. Nothing on Samsung. I think they released this product with no testing, and CERTAINLY with a complete lack of instructions.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, doesn't actually work even when charged and paired
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I still use my TabPro Pen F707
on December 23, 2024
Posted by: Grammie
I bought my Galaxy TabPro Pen F707 back in 2017, and I am still using it today, in 2024. As far as I know, this pen was made for the 2-in-1 Galaxy TabPro Windows tablet, not to be confused with the Tab Pro S Android tablet. This pen works great on the Windows tablet, but is so old now that nobody cares anymore, and I see clearly there are many poor reviews for this pen bc it appears many people thought it was meant for another device.
I would recommend this to a friend!
