defective (does not dry) dryer

dryer does not dry clothes. i left it on for 2 hours and clothes were still damp. i do not recommend this product.

Will ruin every piece of clothing you own.

Puts black marks on every piece of clothing i own. Clothes get caught up in it easily and stain them with lovely black marks. Worst dryer ever!!!

Hello - We are sorry the dryer leaves black marks on clothing. Black marks may be the result of the clothing rubbing between the dryer drum and drum slides. This may occur if the dryer drum slides are worn or a felt seal is mispositioned or defective. This will require service by a qualified technician. Long dry time

In other brand machines I have used, I found that an average dry cycle with a normal amount of clothes takes about 50-60 minutes. With this dryer, which has room for a small amount of clothes, takes about 100 minutes to dry, which seems excessive. It isn't very efficient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dryer works very good for a 120 volt unit.

I just got this a couple days ago and am happy with it's performance. It does everything advertised and works well for just a 120 volt unit. Excellent choice if you have limited space and don't wish to hire an electrician for a 220 volt. I only gave it 4 stars because it needs a buzzer and would have been better with digital controls.

Dryer top vents. metal top with no white panel!

This product was installed two days ago. The lint trap sits on the top of the dryer's grooved exposed steel-colored metal plate which is not flat and smooth due to the grooves. The air duct is attached to the top via screws underneath an exposed steel-colored metal plate. To be clear, there is no top white panel, and top surface is simply the exposed metal colored plate. Poor planning and design on GE's part. It looks like a high school project.

Great little dryer

This was the only dryer that fit into my tiny space, but it works. This is the third one that I have had in the past 35 years, so they definitely last.
