Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Machine is quiet, however, my dishes don't get completely dry and the unit itself still has condensation on the wall, door and bottom of machine after full cycle on high heat - even the next morning after I have run it at night. Yes..... I am using the Frigidaire recommended rinse aide and instructions. I have owned several Frigidaire dishwashers and never had this issue. This "upgraded" model was purchased through my home buider. The shelves do not push in or out easily as wheels do not stay in place. In addition, the handle is made of plastic and is very sharp - I have to use a hand towel just to open it. This seems to be a entry level builder grade (not an upgrade that I paid for) and not an appliance that I can purchase in a retail store. I have had the Gallery line in my last two homes and loved my appliances. These appliances are not up to the standards that I expect from Frigidaire. Disappointed.

Hot water is needed for the best dishwashing and drying results. Water entering your dishwasher should be at least 120°F (49°C) to give satisfactory results. To check your household’s water temperature entering your dishwasher:
• Turn on the “HOT” water faucet nearest to the dishwasher for several minutes to clear cool water from pipes. • Hold a candy or meat thermometer in the water stream to check the temperature. • If the temperature is below 120°F, have a qualified person raise the hot water heater thermostat setting.

Came with the house

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We didn’t get to choose our appliances as they were already installed in our new house but this dishwasher has been great, it’s quiet, it works good. My only minor issue is that the door is spring loaded or something so if it’s not all the way open, it kind of slams back shut if you let go of it. Not a big deal

Cleans the dishes, but barely dries!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher was new 2 months ago when I moved into a newly constructed house. I had never had Frigidaire appliances, but they looked great so I was excited to try them. This dishwasher, though it does seem to clean the dishes fine, does not dry them completely (and yes, I have it on heat dry mode, not air dry). This means there are water marks and streaks on just about everything. I've not had one day when there is not water condensation on the inside of the door when I open it and having that moisture in there creates a musty smell, too. I had a repair company come out and check it, but was told that they all do this now (not just this dishwasher, but other brands as well). Although the dishes are clean, I shouldn't have to be standing right there with a towel to dry them every time I run the dishwasher. I wish this could be fixed, but I'm not hopeful at this point.

For a maximum drying experience, ensure you are using rinse aid for every cycle and the incoming water temperature should be at least 120°F (49°C).
