Chemical Smell & Moisture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher came with our home. It seems like it should be good; however, it has a VERY WEIRD Chemical smell that I can't seem to get rid of. I ran dishwasher cleanser and it still smells. Then I did baking soda in the bottom overnight and a cup of vinegar of the top rack in the morning a ran it...still chemical smell. So needless to say I haven't used it yet for that reason and it ALWAYS have moisture in it which I dont like bc I just sat a dirty dish in there one day and a few days later I saw a little mold on the door. So I'm still on the fence on this one since I haven't washed dishes in it yet.

things are not getting clean

Hello, Noralynn88! Thank you for your feedback! We make every effort to manufacture quality products and your concerns have not gone unnoticed. For optimum cleaning performance, try using the Hi-Temp Wash option on the model. During the hi-temp wash option, the dishwasher heats water in the main wash to approximately 140F (60C) and increases the temperature higher in the final rinse. The increased water temperature helps the dishwasher detergent removes food grease and soil from dishes more effectively and aids in drying. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a new house and Frigidaire dishwasher was in our house and the over the stove microwave. We bought the matching fridge for the house. The dishwasher soap dispenser gets stuck and doesn’t release the soap.
