Works well, but smells

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] D/W came with our new home - cleans well but smells. We are trying propping the door for air flow. Also, the plastic coating on the racks retains water and does not dry, leaving dishes to be hand dried as the are in contact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I actually bought a new home and the builders had this dishwasher installed already (I did not pick it out). While I love the look of stainless steel, I cannot stand the maintenance. This however, total game changer! FINGERPRINT PROOF! That means my kid and husband aren't leaving their grubby little fingerprints all over it. Even better, I don't have to meticulously clean it every hour of the day (because I seriously would; dirty stainless is awful). Anyway, moving on. I love the overall sleek look on the outside and that the cleaning options are on the front as well (sometimes they have them on the inside on the top, and while I get it may be more aesthetically pleasing to some, I like to see the little lights that tell me whats going on, and I do not like when they have that red light that shows up on the floor). My only issue with the "buttons" is that I find them somewhat difficult to press, but more so because there is no beep to let you know that it's been hit, instead it's just a little green light that goes on. Which if you like things super quiet, then it's great. There is even a quick clean function, which I missed having so much on my dishwasher in my last home. As far as the inside goes, it looks like every other dishwasher. My only dislike on the inside is the exposed heating coil. Not a huge deal, but I'd like to see an eventual switch where they all become hidden as a standard. It runs very quietly and quickly (even without using the quick wash function). Haven't had any dirty dishes come out with dried on crud yet. I do rinse my dishes somewhat, depending on what was on them; they never go in with chunks or anything though. I also only run my dishwasher every other day, and I've never had issues with things drying on prior to a cleaning either. In conclusion, for it being a dishwasher that I did not get to pick out myself, I'm very happy with it. The minor things that I find "very little" issue with, are so minuscule that it wouldn't defer me from repurchasing it. I have entire Frigidaire Gallery line (none of the pieces were picked by me) and am SO pleased with it. Will definitely be looking to purchase from Frigidaire with my next home purchase (I move a lot).

Decent Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit does very well in cleaning, but it does not dry all the way, I usually end up leaving the door open to fully dry out the inside.
Overall, the unit is of basic quality and not what I’m used to. Will be replacing after 1 year builder warranty is up.
