Not happy with this dish washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dish washer in Nov 2018 and since then it does not work properly it does not dry the dishes even when it is on dry option and has a weird smell of plastic . Sorry I would like to be contacted and give me a solution

Leaves WHITE RESIDUE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleans fairly well, but leaves a white residue on SOME dishes. I followed the book on solving the oroblem, white vinagar, but still happens. It does solve it for the load at the one time, but next load the same thing again. I did this several times.

Hi, Eric48! We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your feedback and bring your concerns to our attention. Hard water can cause lime deposit buildup on the interior of the dishwasher. Dishes and glasses may also get spots and film for a number of reasons. The amount of detergent to use depends on the water hardness.
Water hardness is measured in grains per gallon. Using too little detergent can result in poor cleaning and hard water filming or spotting. Using too much detergent in soft water can cause etching to some glassware which is surface damage that appears like a film but cannot be wiped off. Your local water company, Water Softener Company or county extension agent can tell you the water hardness in your area. Rinse aid greatly improves drying, reduces water spots, filming, and lubricates wash arm bearing for proper rotation.
You also, want to ensure that the water temperature is 120 degree Fahrenheit as well and not low, avoid overloaded or improper loading. Along with using fresh detergent and the proper amount.
If the tips do not resolve your concern, do not hesitate to reach out to us directly at 1-888-203-1389 Monday-Friday 8:30am-8pm EST, so that we are able to do so.
