Unit leaked the first time we used it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the upgraded Frigidaire Gallery appliances as part of our new home construction. We were surprised to see that the upscale Gallery line had a plastic tub liner and not stainless steel. The very first time we used it in our brand new home it leaked. It took about a week for a service tech to come and check it out and told us that they had been having some problems with the valve leaking on this model dishwasher and would order the new valve. It took two weeks to finally get the replacement part and have it installed. We had to go thru having company for Christmas dinner and having to do all of our dishes by hand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] due to the fact that the upper rack is so close to the top we can no longer put the taller Tervis glasses in the dishwasher and we have a bunch of them. Very disappointed in the design

Hello, Gassy! I can understand your frustration with not being able to fit everything in your new dishwasher. The specifications for this model indicate the top rack has an 8" height clearance. The bottom rack has an 11-13" height clearance, so maybe those taller cups can fit on the bottom rack instead! ~ Brandi
