This was part of an Frigidaire Gallery series upgrade package for our new home. It is quiet but we have experienced a lot of dishes & silverware that comes out dirty even though they were rinsed before being put into the dishwasher. We have had to go to the pot scrubber mode to get them clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Uh oh, jwh85641! I can imagine how frustrating that must be. Please make sure your hot water heater is set to at least 120 degrees, you are running the hot water in a nearby sink prior to starting the dishwasher, you are using plenty of rinse aid, your drain hose is installed at least 32" above the floor, and you are not blocking the spray arm rotation with tall dishes. It's a pretty quiet dishwasher. Wish the top rack adjusted a little lower to allow for taller glasses, but overall a nice unit
