What drying function?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my new dishwasher with one exception, the dryer doesn't work well. The literature isn't simple, so perhaps I am having a problem understanding. A quick use guide would be helpful.

Hi Vancouverite!
Thank you for taking the time out to provide your feedback. Some tips that may alleviate your drying matter is to ensure that the incoming water is 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Ensuring that the incoming water is correct and using rinse aid, can assist with your dishes drying properly.
You are able to locate any tips for drying or any features within the Use and Care Guide that originally comes with your dishwasher and by clicking on the following link ftp://ftp.electrolux-na.com/ProdInfo_PDF/Kinston/A05272501Aen.pdf.
If this does not resolve your matter, please contact us directly at 1-888-203-1389 Monday-Friday 8am-8pm EST and Saturday 9am-6pm EST at your convenience.
Kindly-Ciara

Pretty good - 2 concerns

We have had the FGCD2444SW for 7 weeks. We run one full load each day. I load, wife unloads. I run it on Normal Load which take about 1½ hours. It is quiet and is thorough. Before running, I run the hot water in the nearby sink till it steams and thus we have no issues with wet plastics. The food disposer does a great job, the bottom of the tank is always empty and clean. Number 1 complaint: upper rack is full of big holes. You can't wash poached egg cups, lids, or anything small. They fall through to the lower rack. I lay long items in the upper rack because in the silverware basket they block the spray arm. However, ladles and spatulas like to slip out the back or front of the rack. I actually use green mesh wine bottle sleeves to block the end openings. Not sure why it has such large gaps in the upper rack. Number 2 complaint: silverware basket does not hold enough items. Looks stylish with its curved design but a square basket would hold more. I know because I replaced the Frigidaire basket with the one from our old dishwasher.

I thought this a month ago because my old dishwasher broke. I had a plumber refer me to a Frigidaire. He stated that most people spend too much money on dishwashers with all the extra buttons and they don't use them. I took his advice and bought and simple one. It washes fine, so I can't complain. My only compliant is the the top level doesn't adjust. So all the large tumblers and shaker bottles don't fit and need to be washed on the bottom rack. They take a lot of space and I know some of those items are only to be washed on top rack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 12 year old dish washer with a new one. There was never a moments doubt. We wanted the same reliability and clean dishes we had enjoyed for 12 years with our old Frigidaire. Our FGCD2444SW delivered the goods.

Nice Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishes and silverware come out clean. Our only regret was buying online. In Northern Vermont it is difficult to find a showroom of Frigidaire appliances. There are features that our former dishwasher had that we miss and could not see via online pictures. Hopefully, this American made unit lasts as long as our old unit (16+ years). We have found that if we would have chosen "Pots and Pans" feature, we would have more room for the larger items that we struggle to place in this unit. The best way to rate something is: ask in in 16 years!

Mixed feelings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is very quiet and gets our dishes clean. However there are a few things I'm not happy with. The first is my dishes are never dry and I use heat dry. The second problem is after we run a cycle there is a white substance on the screen at the base of the dishwasher as seen in the picture. Finally there seems to be an accumulation of soap at the base of the door. So my dishes come out clean but feel my dishwasher is NOT clean.

Hello, Mixed review! I hate to hear that you are having trouble with your dishwasher. To increase drying performance, make sure you are using plenty of rinse aid, your hot water temperature is set to at least 120 degrees, and you are loading the dishes per the instructions in the manual. For the undissolved detergent, try running the hot water in a nearby sink for 2-3 minutes before starting the dishwasher. Don't block the dispenser with tall dishes, and always clean or empty the filter area of any debris after a cycle. If you need additional assistance, feel free to reach out to us directly. Best Wishes, Brandi
