Worked Great until I dropped them on the floor

Worked okay for one volume level, but volume did not seem to ever be controllable via the + and - buttons. First time I dropped the Headphones, a cheap plastic U-shaped Clip with two screws holding in the pivoting metal earpiece bracket. It looks like a simple piece to replace, but AKG does not have spares of these pieces to sell or provide. Very sad.

Great sound but Not so good Build Quality
on April 7, 2021

I have been so happy with the sound production from these on ears, but what has let them down for me is the Build quality. From day one there has been a clicking from one of the switches when moving my head, this is due to the slackness of the switch i its mounting, irritating but liveable. But the main issue for me is, after having treating them like a baby for the two years or so in which I have owned them, the connection point to the head band of one of the ear covers has broken. Extremely disappointing.

Wasn't sure I would like these, but I wanted some decently priced on ear headphones and these seemed like a good option. The sound is quality is nice. The bass is not booming, and for being bluetooth enabled, on ear headphones these are great headphones

Nice Sound and Noise Canceling
on February 9, 2022

I completely didnt read the on ear headphones part so I shouldnt have gotten them. They werent that comfortable for me personally because I have many ear piercings but if I didnt they would be nice. The sound is real good, not the best bass but it is still up there. The active noise canceling was actually really good, the first pair I've owned with it and now I see why people like it so much. I would recommend this to anyone that doesnt have sensitive ears or a lot of ear piercings.

Weak pads

Very happy with the sound and the sound cancelling. Not happy with the durability of the padding. Glued several times the inner lining and the outer lining. The original weld/glue was simply not durable. See photo of glued/repaired pads.

Good features, flimsy construction in one section

I bought it a couple of years ago and have used it intermittently at home but when I recently traveled with it and folded it, placed it in the soft case that comes with it and put in my handcarry bag, when I opened it up again to use it, part of the plastic molded piece by the screw that holds the end of the T-bar broke off that renders the headphone useless with the right ear piece just hanging with the metal bar and the wire exposed and flips away from my ear. It cannot be put back together and hold up. I don't know if it's a common issue but I'm now questioning whether it shouldn't be folded since the the plastic pieces that hold the metal piece (t-bar) together is flimsy. The screws are too close to the end piece that when the ear piece pivots, the pressure perhaps is too great for the small end of plastic to hold it together. In this case it only happened on the right side. Left side is intact. Otherwise it's a decent product.

Look and sound great, but prone to breaking
on April 14, 2023

There's A LOT I love about the N60NC Wireless: The sound quality is excellent, the noise-cancelling is fantastic (tested on subways and flights), the style is great, and the fold-up style makes them very portable. The single thing that will, unfortunately, keep me from buying another pair is durability. I can't justify a third pair after my first two broke in nearly the exact same way.
I received my first pair as a gift, wore them daily on my morning commute as well as on long flights (excellent battery life). Then, about 11 months after receiving them, I clumsily knocked them off my head and onto the sidewalk. They seemed fine at first, but when I put them on the right headphone immediately collapsed outward because the small plastic piece at the top of the headphone mount (i.e. near where the "N60" branding is) had broken in the fall. I tried gluing, but since it is a point of both movement (extending the right earphone up and down) and pressure (the headphones grip at the ears, after all), it just broke again. My fault; shouldn't have dropped them. I'd be more careful the next time.
A month or two after my first pair, I picked up my second pair which, again performed great for the past year and a half or so, until this past week when they broke in nearly the same place as the first. This time, I accidently knocked them off my nightstand onto my wood floor after charging. They seemed fine when I picked them up (headphone not dangling to the side), but a couple days later as I was putting them on to head to my train, the small plastic piece near the headphone broke again (this time at the end of the "headband" section). The headphone is a little more stable since the break is in a slightly different place (the plastic cap on the headband portion rather than the plastic cap on the top of the headphone portion); though the extension mechanism isn't tight anymore since the plastic piece was part of that so it is difficult now to keep a good fit. Its only a matter of time before they break fully, so I'm actively starting to look for their replacement which, unfortunately, won't be AKG again.
I get it, I did drop both pairs. The first pair hit sidewalk from a 6 foot drop so there was probably no chance of them not breaking. The second pair though? A 2-3 foot fall off a nightstand and they break in basically the exact same place? At this point it is my fault for dropping, but AKG's fault for low durability. They're portable headphones; people are going to take them on trains and planes and throw them in backpacks and even drop them off nightstands. You need to ensure they're capable of surviving normal use.
For style and function the N60s can't be beat. I loved them enough to buy them twice over. Durability, on the other hand....unless you plan to be constantly careful with them, or you don't mind replacing them after every drop, these probably aren't the headphones for you.
