The AKG N60 headphones are very great headphones for my personal use. I have switched to the headphones while talking on the phone and noone could tell the difference.
The sound is crisp and clear and the volume can be very loud if that is your thing. I love them!

Love My Note9 - Headphones Too!

Have been using my Note9 since the pre-order and love the phone. Lerning the new features and much improved from my Note5 and 8 (for some reason I delayed getting the Note7 which I am so glad I did).
I saw some reviews that complained the cables were not included. The headphone pouch has a pocket with a Velcro closure; that is where the cables are located. The box has the airline adapter secured in the foam. Now to charge and play with the headphones. Visually, the headphones are AKG quality and I am sure the sound performs with AKG's known performance.

Hello, I just wanted to comment on this pair of headphones, which I recently purchased and have been using daily for over a month. A few years ago, I was in need of a good noise cancelling headphones that would be good not just for everyday use but also for air travel. After doing a lot of research and testing, I decided on the AKG K490NC wired noise cancelling headphones. I have been extremely pleased with my purchase and found them to be better then expected. In fact, I found they out performed the Bose equivalent. After almost 4 years of use, the left ear piece plastic attachment hinge broke. So, I decided to purchase a second pair, but unfortunately noticed that the K490nc model was no longer available.
After researching current AKG models and even other brands like Bose, again I found myself looking at purchasing the AKG brand. I wanted headphone similar to the AKG K490nc, as I prefer compact, on-ear, great sounding, noise cancelling headphones. Originally, I was looking at just wired headphones since bluetooth headphones typically do not have the sound quality of a wired pair. When I researched and tested the AKG N60nc wireless headphones, I was very impressed.
The construction of the headphones looks very good, in fact slightly more robust then my K490's. I also noticed the diameter of the ear piece is slightly larger then the K490nc pair that I have, which improves the sealing of the ear piece to the ear. I also found a great improvement in the cushion design. The cushion is thicker and better shaped, which further improves sealing to the ear. Just by placing the headphones on my ears, the outside noise isolation is incredible, blocking out almost all ambient sounds and is several times better then my K490's.
The N60nc wireless headphone hit all the marks. They are compact, folding and great for travel, on ear and noise cancelling. They can be used wired ( detachable audio cable is included) or wireless, with or without the noise cancelling feature. As expected, the sound quality with the included audio cable is fantastic and is not degraded with or without the NC active. The noise cancellation is also exceptional!
When connecting to your bluetooth devce, the NC is automatically activated in bluetooth mode. The sound quality was quite surprising, in fact exceptional for a wireless headphone. Yes, the sound is very slightly degraded vs connected with the audio cable, but when using them with my Samsung Galaxy S5 music player, I adjusted the music player equalizer very slightly and was able to obtain the same sound quality as when connected via the audio cable. With the Samsung galaxy music, the players equalizer can be adjusted separately for both wired and wireless connections. This is a nice feature as the sound quality does not need re-adjusted when going from wired to wireless connections.
After adjusting the music player and using the N60nc wireless headphones in both wired and wireless configurations, I found the sound quality to be as good or equal to my K490's. They are very comfortable over long periods of use and battery life was very good, even when using them in the wireless mode with NC.
I have been using them quite extensively over the past few month and have to say I'm quite impressed. I feel AKG did a great job with this pair of headphones, which give a high quality sound, noise cancellation, compact and portable that will hold it's own against the competition if not beat it. I would highly recommend the AKG N60nc wireless headphones.

Sound Quality and Noise Cancelling are great but,

These came with might note 9 and I was pretty impressed with the sound quality, noise cancellation and battery life. The only real negative up until recently was that they become uncomfortable on my head after an hour of them being on.
Around 2 years later the plastic parts on each side that cover the extenders have broken off from regulary use. Now one headphone side does not stay retracted. For the price I was hoping to get some more use out of them.

Exceptional!

These are exceptional, granted they helped me save money on my phone. $1249 Note9-$299 N60nc -my $50 rebate. This was the exception, these things, the AKG headphones sound really good, superior sound quality, decent build, but I'm not careless with my stuff so I'm OK with it build I guess. The bass is right there with my Jabra Revo, which I've been using since they come out. But the highs and mids are way better, crisp and clear clean. If the build was a tab bit more premium, they be hard to beat, plus they lack the charge and listen at the same time feat. I'd buy them, if they were on sell like I do most things I buy. Lol. These are a most have though, if you in the market for great noise canceling wireless headphones. I use mines everyday now.
