Will Last 5 Years

After 5 years, I finally put this out to the curb for the metal recyclers to pick up, and it will be missed. Mine was outside year round in snow wind rain and sun. I drilled a few holes in the bottom of the bowl to allow the rain and snow to drain out when not in use. And always dumped out the ashes after each use.
After three years it started to develop some rust. By the end of four years, it had taken on a nice dark orange rust color, but was still solid and going strong. Eventually it developed a number of half dollar sized holes in the bowl. And no, it was not because of the drain holes. This was just normal long term usage and wear and tear.
So this spring, a few of the red hot coals fell through and lit the dry ground under it on fire. So we had a good laugh, and I wished my dear fire pit goodbye. So many memories!

I purchased this product last year through hayneedle and only put it together recently. It is a nice pit and it was so easy to assemble. I know we are really going to enjoy this. sturdy.

We received this as a Christmas gift and have already used it several times. We love sitting on the patio after work. This allows us to do that even when the weather is cooler. The cover that came with it is great to protect it. Very easy to clean after each use.

Enjoying sitting around the fire in our back yard. Grandchildren like to roast marsh mellows. Nice safety cover to keep down the sparks.

I just received this and I'm so pleased. It's a whole lot larger than I expected and very well made. I'm terrible at putting things together but the directions were very clear and I had it together very quickly (with no help from my grandson). My family and I will get a lot of use out of this.
