I've been loving it thus far. It works great for keeping up with emails and social media. I wish there were a flash feature for the camera so pics can be clearer in dark settings. Other than that it has been great.
The screen blacked out a few days ago and will not come back on. Currently working to find out what the problem is and have it replaced.
This tablet is very good. There are many great features that come with it. There is a multi-window feature where you can do two things at a time without switching screens. A few tweaks are speakers and memory. I wish this tablet was louder. But I don't have to worry because I have headphones. Also, I wish this was 16 gb. I say this beca use you don't get 8 gb to use. The device uses approximately half to run. So you really get 4 gb. But that's okay because you have a microSD slot. Overall, this was worth wanting and buying,
I really like using the Samsung Galaxy Tab. It serves my purposes and for the cost relative to other tablets, it is definitely worth getting a Samsung.
The only drawbacks I have found are that there isn't an adequate flashlight feature. That would be a good thing to have during a power outage, storm, or some type of disaster. The camera could also be improved. However, I feel that these are two of the lesser qualities that also allow the price to be lower. If that is the case, I will certainly settle for what I have to have spent less money on the tablet.
The Tab 4 Design is sleek and modern. However, some of the features sort of downgraded from the Tab 3. The first thing I noticed is the sound. The volume is not very loud even at the maximum setting. The poorly placed speaker may have to do with it. However, this device can easily and quickly be connected to bluetooth speakers. Secondly, the camera quality is worse than the Tab 3. The images were blurrier than my previous Tab 3 and that was disappointing. Overall, though the feel and the system was great. It ran fast, was easy to use, and had great battery life. Although after 6 months of having it, I do have some problems when it would randomly restart in the middle of me using it. It is probably just an individual problem and I'll get it checked if it worsens.
ps: Although minor, I feel like I should mention it. The display brightness was not automatic. I was surprised at first but as soon as I got the hang of it, I didn't mind at all.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, good for price
Cons: camera quality worsened, low volume built-in speaker
