Great bag awful handles

I have owned 2 of these bags- Love the compartments and EZ scan feature when I travel. For me everything is perfect EXCEPT as another reviwer has said the cheap faux leather handles pealed and fell apart after about a year or less. The rest of the bag has stood up fine . I actually prefer the nylon in this bag to leather i have had on others as it seems to stand up better. But c'mon Samsonite you can do much better than this cheap handle material

Lousy handle undermines the overall value and utility

The artificial leather material around the handles fell apart within 4 months, making the bag uncomfortable to hold and junky looking. I threw it away and got a replacement from another company.
Pros: Lots Of Pockets And Features
Cons: Handle Fell Apart, Uncomfortable Strap

I purchased the same brief case about 3 years ago and used everyday, including the foreign country traveling about 5 times a year. Finally one of the zipper started getting bad (not zipper itself but the cloth connecting nylon body and zipper started be apart from seam) and got hard to close, so I decided to buy another one. The size is enough to carry daily use. laptop, notes, documents and gadgets but not too much (which makes me organizing the bag often), inside organizer are reasonable size to put small staffs. but after a years of use, I kind of think that it is a little small for nowadays use- carrying phones, tablets and related small items, like earphone, charger and everything. I still carry this for international travel but when I bring novel and some extra staffs, finally it gets really full, which I expect the reason why I got the zipper problem. it would be perfect for me that they can expand depth of front space a little bit more. Overall, I think it is great brief case for general business use. only reason I gave 1 star minus is that the one part of plastic tube which going around the edge of bag came off from the seam within 3 days of use. But it does work no problem and I still love it.
Pros: Attractive, Lightweight
Cons: Inadequate Capacity

Not The Bag It Used To Be

My husband's glowing review was based on the bag he bought in the past. This one is not very well padded like the old one was. This one has only one top zipper compartment with a couple of lightweight pouches inside, and none of the compartments are divided inside. That is all it offers. The old bag was very well padded and had two top zipper compartments. One of those compartments was divided into two sections, and had three heavy duty pouches in one section. One of the front compartments also had several convenient pouches in them. The new bag offers none of these features. A big disappointment.
