Great power, easy to clean, good warranty.

I bought this nearly 10 Years ago. I've had to get it Warrantied twice for different reasons, both times it was easy to deal with support.
I love the blunt edges of the blade. It leaves my smoothies much smoother and consistent than the other premium brand that starts with a V. And if I want that texture, their jars fit on the Versa.
I feel like I have the best of both worlds with this blender.
By the way, I a do NOT work for Oster or am getting compensated in any way. I was recommending this blender to a friend and frankly was surprised they still sold them.

Flawed Design is not Food Safe

I’m amazed that Oster designed and released a product with so many uncleanable nooks and crannies. The hollow handle is full of smoothie residue. There are deep sharp edged pockets in the base that no pipe cleaner can reach. All of these pockets trap food and grow bacteria.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing Purverizing Blender

Amazing blender that lasted for 7 years. Yes it does take a bit longer to blend than vitamix, but you are saving hundreds of $$$ for slightly more invloved blending experience. I wish they did not discontinue this product

We bought our several years ago and have been very happy with it. As others have mentioned the gasket on the lid stretches, but overall, we have been very satisfied.
