Doesn't Cool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought this in March 2020. the installers didn't do anything but push it in place, but once I talked to CS and leveled it and adjusted the doors as in the install guide it has been awesome, i use the auto open and the knock all the time. I love being able to lift out the drawers and wash them easily. I had a Korean refrigerator that all the plastic started breaking in the first year. This is going on 2 years and it looks like new.

When I tell you this fridge is the perfect size I mean it fits in all the things you want while not taking up the size of a gigantic fridge. My fridge stays organized even with the pounds of food I have BECAUSE of the great amount of containers included in the LG fridge like the cabinet tempertaure controllable specificfor raw food like fish or steak. This fridge is a must buy because it is efficient and does our family well ;)

Good lookig fridge misses the fundamentals

The compressor went out. Took two weeks to get it replaced. All the food spoiled.
Food kept in the view door doesn't stay cold enough so don't keep your milk or juices there or they will spoil quickly. But that's where they belong for easy access.
Lighted shelves are a good idea. Why do they only work in one position?
The freezer door open alarm does not go off when the door is only somewhat ajar but enough to let the freezer thaw out. Happened more than once.
The freezer section is divided into two sections. I never thought about the importance of having wider access. Big items have to be in the downstairs freezer.
Don't try to multitask. The ice/water dispenser doesn't work when the other door is open.
These are some of the negatives but it does look good This is not an inexpensive fridge so I'm disappointed. Would not recommend or rebuy. Hope LG learns from this attempt and builds a better fridge in the future.

I will NEVER buy another LG product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd LG Refrigerator in 7 years. We gave away our last one when it was only 5 years old because the compressor went out 5 TIMES! Yes, 5 times! (And Yes, I filed a claim on the lawsuit and received the court-ordered compensation check THIS WEEK.) The same week, 3 days later, the compressor on this 2yo VERY EXPENSIVE LG refrigerator has gone out. I'm so tired of losing money on spoiled food and having to go without a refrigerator for weeks until they replace the compressor (likely for about a year before the compressor goes out again). I'm done.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
