Perfect Bike Mount for my GoPro.
on December 21, 2016

The 360 deg rotation means you can mount the camera at an odd position and still get your video right side up. This mount also holds the camera much more securely than the other mount I was using. I have been using it on my mountain bike and cyclocross bike and I am thinking I may try it on a ski pole this winter. That should make for some interesting video. Good job GoPro.

The best mount so far

This is the most comfortable mount available by GoPro for their cameras, especially for biking, motorbiking, etc.. It has nice rubber attachment support which acts as shock-absorber, thereby enjoying a very steady video.

Sometimes quality is worth it

I've tried other knock-off mounts which have not held the camera properly because the tolerances were off, and the camera would move around. The Go Pro handlebar mount worked great on a cycling tour of Croatia. I used the mount on both handlebars and seat posts with success. The different sized rubber spacers accommodate a lot of different mounting positions. Now, the mount lives in my track car; mounted to a roll-bar.

New Handlebar/Seatpost Mount
on October 31, 2016
Posted by: J D.
The new handlebar/seatpost mount is a huge improvement over the previous bike mount made by GoPro. Multi-axis adjustment without using extensions allow you to securely mount the camera on the handlebars or on the seat post.
What could make it better? I found that I couldn’t mount it to a seat stay because the none of the supplied rubber inserts would allow me to secure it to a small seat stay.
When I tried to mount the camera facing directly to the rear on my seat post, my leg would rub on the mount. To be fair, I ride a small frame with only a few inches of seat post exposed and my left leg kind of tracks to the inside when I pedal. I was able to resolve this by rotating the mount about 30 deg which aimed the camera a bit to the center of the road.
Road bikes with under the handlebar tape mechanical cables - you have to position the mount as close to the stem as possible due to the cable housings.
Overall….it’s versatility is a huge plus.

I'm somewhat new to GoPro but I don't find the camera or any of the accessories to be of high quality or easy to use. I hope my opinion changes.

Aka Wheelchair Mount
on October 26, 2016
Posted by: Laura S.
I purchased my GoPro Hero4 prior to my family's winter trip to Walt Disney World in 2015. Around the same time, I also purchased the pole mount to attach the GoPro to my wheelchair. Over the course of the trip, I discovered that the pole mount was rather bulky and with having multiple peices. took time to properly attach to my chair. When I discovered that a one piece bike mount had been produced, I was beyond ecstatic! It solve both problems I was having with the pole mount And it provides more flexibility in angles in which to shoot! No more dragging around extra peices to get that desired shot! Way to go!

Love it! Solid construction, survived a MTB crash that cost me a dislocated shoulder. Will be getting another one for my road bike.
