Pure Love!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer almost 6 weeks ago, and so far, I couldn't be happier. It does everything I need it to do, including the ability to accommodate my thinner king-sized quilt.
As with my last front loader, I use 2 tablespoons of liquid detergent MAX (for a really full load), but generally use 1 1/2 tablespoons. I supplement it with a very small amount of Clorox II color safe bleach. My clothes always come out clean without difficulty.
I love the "space age" look of the controls; especially the "Nest" thermostat-type of dial. I'm also crazy about the LED interior light. I always wished my other front loader had a light, and it is a godsend to now have one!
Unbeknownst to the owners of this washer, this Electrolux has a spin only cycle. However, there is no clear instructions on how to do this in the manual, and it's not easy to figure out. The manual tells you to "deselect extra rinse." In order to do that, I believe extra rinse has to be selected, and then the set button needs to be held for a few seconds to "deselect" it., meaning the light next to the extra rinse cycle in options would go out. It then becomes a spin only cycle. Confusing!
I obviously can't speak to longevity, and it's my hope that it will last for a very long time. For now, it's quiet, cleans very well, has all of the features I could ever want, and was purchased at an excellent price.
Right now, my new Electrolux sits up on a pedestal. And that's exactly where it belongs. :)

Fabulous Electrolux 617 Washer!

The reasons we "Love" it are the near whisper quiet operation, clothes feel softer and smell wonderful without softeners, custom cycle features and steam, laundry gets done quicker, too.

Has a quality feel

Good washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, they have been a good set. The washer fits so much so it’s very convenient with 4 kids. The dryer seems not to get things dry if set on low, even on a times dry. The filter is hard to get clean
