[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After sixteen years with a front load Kenmore Elite our dryer broke and the cost to repair didn’t make sense as the machines were getting long in the tooth. Having a laundry room that had a counter over the W & D became a challenge in choosing new machines. We didn’t want to add renovation to the mix. Seems that over the years the cabinetry surrounding machines have increased in height and depth. It narrowed down our choice to Electrolux however we couldn’t be more pleased. I’m liking the way it distrubutes detergent evenly over the clothes. It seems to do a much better job in removing stains. The 15 minute wash which I didn’t think was a big deal I’ve already used several times! Lots of wash options, quiet and really enjoying the clear wash door. We also changed the positioning of the machines in our room because we now had the ability to change the washer door and it seems Electrolux is the only company that allows you to do so. It’s a manufacturing corner they could have cut but chose not to so it leads me to believe they really thought it all through and have not skimped. The machine is good looking as well. No cheesy colored writing on some cycles like other machines. You can never misstep with understated elegance.

A little tough on fabrics - but happy overall

My only reason for 4 stars is I noticed that many of our shirts are coming out with snags in them and a some more delicate items have developed holes. I now keep the spin at its lowest setting and that has helped. All in all great machines.
