Super Pair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a washer and dryer together and think they are great. We had a front loading pair for years that performed well but were noisey and had few wash or dryer options. These units have everything! The have lights inside, numerous options, are quiet and really get results for cleaning. The dryer even has a mist that really reduces wrinkles. Note, not about the units, that the customer service is not impressive as their units.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great machines

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I searched for a couple of years for machines big enough to do our king sized comforters and our sleeping bags. These Electrolux 617 models do the job. Now I just need to figure out all the settings! We purchased the 617 because of the allergen cycle on the dryer, although I haven't used it yet. I have used the perfect steam to get the wrinkles out of a pair of dress pants, didn't have to pull the iron out. They look awesome in my newly painted laundry room.

LOVE IT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this machine last month and I'm so thrilled we did. We went from a top loading machine with agitator to this ... what a huge difference. The machine uses so much less water, less soap, is so much quieter and will hopefully save us money due to its energy efficiency. I did a lot of research on various different machines before making this purchase and in all cases this machine was rated one of the top. Even my husband commented that he feels like the clothes are cleaner.

Great overall unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a older Electrolux set when we bought our house and it had worked great for years and we were looking forward to using it for years to come but when we moved we found out that the new house was a gas not electric dryer, after weighing the options of getting power over there vs getting new set we decided on the new set. It was a no brained to get another Electrolux set so we got them and I built a taller platform then the pedestal that was offered with them. After getting them up and running I have got to say there are a few differences between the old set and the new ones that I would like to share with you before you buy. The old set was very good at cleaning and drying and worked great and so far the new set is right in line and doing the same things. There are a few less settings that you can control on the new set which is not really a bad thing unless you like to have total control over your washer, they do have a few new features like steam and smart boost which does seem to work a little better then before. Now our set is downstairs in a laundry room and we can't hear them up stairs but if you have them right off the main living area they are a touch loud when filling and spinning, not overly loud but still loud. Over all they are a great set and work wonderfully. The only thing that I would complain about with them has nothing to do with the machines themselves it has to do with the hook ups. If you get the steam dryer it has a splitter that you place on the cold faucet where the washer hooks up and it's made of cheap plastic, we bought the stainless steel lines and to me it seems like a waste to hook burstproof hoses to a plastic part, so to fix that get the kit at the store that has the metal Y in it. You would think that Electrolux would not skimp on such a little part when they do such a great job on everything else. Over all they are great units and don't regret getting them at all, they work like they are supposed to and do what they say they will do
