Great washer

It's what I wanted from a washing machine. It get clothes clean, even large and dirty loads. The maximum spin cycle leaves things only barely damp, while the lower spin cycles (that don't squish or wrinkle clothes as much) also do an excellent job. I haven't used a lot of the specialty cycles yet, and don't see that I will use the stain treat cycles hardly at all. Who does a whole 100+ minute cycle for a blood or chocolate stain on the occasional shirt or towel? Why I paid extra for this machine over the lower models for the Smart Boost feature. Unfortunately, that is also the feature that is the noisiest part of the normal wash cycle. The spin cycle, even at high speeds with heavy loads, is whisper quiet and doesn't shake the house. The washing and water dispensing is also quiet. But the boost pump sounds a bit like loud motor. So just be aware of that because if you want a really silent machine, you might want to get the model below this one, because you can't turn the Smart Boost feature off. I would say it does help mix the detergent and get clothes really clean.

What an upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just recently purchased a new Electrolux and what a difference. The delivery crew even commented on the weight of this washing machine. It is built tough and is very quiet. We can now easily wash our comforters without having to jam them in there. There is a lot of room in this machine.
