Easy to use and efficient

I purchased my washer and dryer a month ago and could not be happier. It is quiet, efficient and gets the clothes fresh and clean.

Great machines

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the washer and dryer in July and keep looking for things to wash. Today I washed a comforter that hadn't seen soap and water for many years because of its size. As with everything else that I've washed, it came out beautifully.

Leaker in nly 10 days

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product a few months ago to replace the same machine that never worked right and was replaced under warranty previously. I spent quite a bit of time researching the best machines on the market and over and over again it came up the Electrolux. I gave it a try again reluctantly, I was promised by dealer I would be happy. This new model of Electrolux is night and day compared to the three year old model of same machine I had replaced it with. My clothes felt incredibly clean for the first time in years. So far, no issues with the machine.

Water saving front load washers

At first it was amazing, then if I left the laundry in the washer for more than a few hours it would smell moldy. I would have to wash the laundry several more times this does not save water at all,, which was the whole purpose of buying the washer in the first place saving energy and saving on water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Front-loading washing machines have watertight, airtight doors that seal with a rubber gasket. That rubber seal traps moisture in the machine and also provides the perfect nooks and crannies for mold and mildew to grow. The problem isn’t helped by our laundry preferences. Our detergents and liquid softeners leave behind residues and films that invite mold growth. Cold-water cycles and mild, eco-friendly detergents don’t quite blast away residues like their environmentally-unfriendly counterparts.
