Some serious design flaws.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this machine since Feb. 1, 2019. It seemed to have a lot of bells and whistles. But, there are flaws. First the is a "shelf" just inside the front door where the lint filter is located. Small items get stuck on that shelf and do not get dried with the rest of the load. It's even worse when you try to dry the single or two items after the rest is dry. Those items seem to jump right back up on the shelf and sit there. There needs to be a slope to that area. Then, second, there is little flexibility to settings. If you set it for "towels", for example, the time sets and so do other drying features. They can't be changed. Seems to me that the settings should be our choice. Also, we don't like the sideways opening door. Our old dryer had a drop-down door which gave you a working shelf when loading and unloading. With a big load, you open this door with no outside shelf and clothes fall on the floor. Also, the drum is very deep. You can't reach all the way to the back of the drum. If clothes are at the back, you have to use a yard stick or other item to reach the clothes and get them out.. The volume of the signal at the end of the cycle is way too low and can't be heard except close to the dryer. Volume should be adjustable so it can be heard in other parts of the house. (Now with smart phones and "Alexa", having a smart phone connection would be a neat idea for the end of cycle signal.)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Based on the information provided, it sounds like you are referring to the dryer rack. You are able to remove the dryer rack by lifting it from its slots. You would want to use the drying rack for items which should not be tumble dried. Extend the collapsed drying rack and insert the rack into the dryer drum. Place the front legs into the front air grill and lower the rear of the rack onto the back of the dryer drum. You are able to view any information pertaining to the drying rack or any other features in the Use and Care Guide, which the following link http://manuals.electroluxappliances.com/prodinfo_pdf/Webster/A04173701Ben.pdf.

Big dryer with nice features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this dryer for about a month and so far really like it. I replaced a dryer that took multiple cycles to dry the clothes. This unit dries fast, has a big capacity and runs very quiet. The refresh/steam cycle is great since I alway forget to take out my dress shirts before they get wrinkled. I would give 5 stars but don’t like the you can only select preset manual dry times, with 15 minutes being the shortest time.

Best dryer we have ever had

2 major repairs needed in less than 1 year

Consistent and Efficient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have suffered through Maytag and LG just to land with an Electrolux washer and dryer. This model has just enough bells and whistles to be useful and not too many to be a total pain. My clothes are consistently clean, the wash time to dry time ratio is pretty spot on, and the fast 15 minute wash and dry has been a life saver for my son’s uniform when we are in a rush! These have been the best set I have ever owned by far.
