Won't buy Electrolux dryer again

While we are happy with the companion washer this dryer has been unacceptable. We have had many service people come out from different warranty companies with the same problem recurring. Even though we clean the lint filter after every load, which we've done with the 2 other dryers we've owned over the years, lint still gets through and causes the dryer to make a load noise. Finally a technician came out and replaced the lint filter with one we should have had all along but never was given even though we had filled out the registration information when we purchased it. While it's much better at collecting the lint from each load the dryer is making noise again. We have to go to extraordinary cleaning measures, more than we've ever had to with either of our past dryers, to make sure all of the lint is removed after each load. We even created a little tool so we can get to the lint that remains in the area the filter slides into to be sure we get it all. And even though it's a gas dryer it takes as long as our first electric dryer to dry things.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought under a year ago and already has problems.

I bought two of these units in Maybof last year and have needed them fixed already twice. They still make funny noises. Not happy.

Not my favorite

We bought an electrolux washer/dryer set when we moved last year. Although it dries okay, the lint filter is a very bad design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
