New replacement dryer needs to be serviced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received a warranty replacement unit a few weeks ago. Now this one needs to be looked at. The awful squeaking, rattling and other odd noises are just not right. My first Electrolux dryer (we left when we moved) did not have these issues.
It dries well. The freshing selection is nice and the dryer is easy to use. I just don't like having to keep calling for repairs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

not happy with it at all! -- the dryer is squeaky after about 10 minutes into the cycle because the clothes get pushed toward the dryer door. I have to keep opening it and redistributing the clothes - ridiculous!

Almost perfect!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer and the matching washer about 3 weeks ago and it is taking some getting use to in the way of temps and running times. The only downside, and things like this do happen so not a knock on the dryer itself but just not the best experience, the dryer has already been making an odd banging sound when using the higher temp settings and I have had to have a part replaced. Again things happen with ALL appliances to some degree so we will see how things go as time goes on but overall I am really satisfied with my purchase and I still would recommend this unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this because it was highly recommended, and have found it disappointing and underwhelming. Dryer had to be replaced for poor craftsmanship/QA, and the replacement had the same problem with its front panel not fitting properly.

dryer making loud noise in less than 2 months! Sounds like roller motor is broken already

Yikes! Thank you for sharing your dryer experience, somewhere. The dryer drum is supported by a set of suspension rollers. At times there may be a thumping or rolling sound when the dryer starts. This may happen if the dryer has not been in use for a period of time, or after a heavy load has remained in the dryer drum for an extended period, creating a temporary flat spot on the roller. The noise should dissipate as the dryer operates and the flat spot smooths out.
