Not as good as my previous pair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this washer and dryer set for almost a year and have needed service on both the washer and dryer already! The warranty is almost up, and I am not debating on whether to purchase the extended warranty, which ends up being about 20% of the original cost. My previous Electrolux washer and dryer lasted 5 years and could have gone probably a few more. After this experience with these newer models, I will be purchasing a different brand next. Giving 3 stars because they do clean and dry very well and also have a large capacity. Deducted 2 because of the repairs thus far.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this dryer 1 month. It was our washmachine that we had to replace. I managed to convience my husband into a matching dryer and so glad I did! Love all the features on this dryer especially the steam feature. My friend's washmachine quit at the same time and she kept her original dryer and now her dryer can't keep up with her washer loads. So glad we made the decision to get both....very happy with our purchase!

Broke down in the first month!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn’t believe it when it broke after the first month!? The belt broke.. I smelled something burning, it as the dryer heater working but not turning! Could have burned my house down! I don’t have much trust! I pray it doesn’t break again. I’ve never had that happen in all my years of shopping for appliances! I’ve always purchased the nicest ones I could find.. this set is pretty but not made well. The filter ffills up quickly too!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
