Electrolux Dryer

We purchase this unit last month. Sales pitch was it was very quiet and had quick dry cycles. After using 15 minute dry cycle to dry small load we had to chose s different cycle to do the job.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great!

We were completely against another front load washer and dryer because of our experience with our first set. After comparing all of the different styles and brands we decided on the Electrolux. Very glad we did, and very glad we stayed with the front load. Very quiet, great features, and does a great job at cleaning the laundry.

Capacity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a few months ago, looking for large capacity, energy efficiency, ease of use. The set a good looking set but turns out to be Problematic issues with both the washer and dryer, when it works it works fine, the less amount of recommend soap does not make sense but service said we should use only Tide and half the recommended soap level on the machine per their instructions. The clothes sometimes in spin cycle does not always take out enough water to put the clothes in the dryer. The dryer doesn’t start all the time a part has had to be ordered. Purchase date 8/12/16

what a disappointment

I could't be more disappointed. After owning this dryer for five days, the drum stopped turning. Now i must take a vacation day from work to accomodate the repairman's schedule.

Wrinkle Free Drying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this new dryer. This gas dryer fits our space perfectly. Thanks to the lower rear concave design which allows the vent duct to tuck in, we can put the dryer about 3-4" closer to the wall. The dryer features versatile dry settings making it easy to select the right one for the job. Towels dry really quickly. Sometimes I just want to refresh clothing, and the light steam cycle gets the job done perfectly in just 10 minutes There is even an anti-static setting which I find works great, especially when drying my husbands socks. The extended tumble setting is perfect for when I can't remove clothes right away. But what I love the most about this dryer is that regardless of which setting is used, items come out without wrinkles. No more wrinkled, tangled sheets, cloth napkins fold smoothly, clothing wrinkle free. We love the titanium gray color because it is a nice change from white. The interior light is a nice plus too. So much better than our old dryer. Now life is really good!

Fair for a reason

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer after researching several other manufactures. The options, speed and appearance swayed my buying power. But after only five days, the dryer would not tumble. You could see it try, but after a couple seconds it would shut off. So happen it was over the holidays and a quick repair was not possible. Three days later, service repair shows up to troubleshoot and repair. The fix, remove the sound deadening material that sloughed from the top and jammed the drum to a halt. Heat from dryer caused material to soften and stick to the drum and lodge against the controls to stop the dryer from tumbling. Quick repair, but several days with a dryer and kids at home does not help my rating.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unacceptably Noisy!

The washer made 4 distinct loud noises heard throughout my 3-bedroom home, shook the carpeted floor, and kept me wide awake at night. Both washer and dryer were returned to the dealer. The washer did a very thorough job of cleaning my clothes and towels.
