Great set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the EFMG517SIW Electrolux dryer and matching washer to use as a stackable set. We are very happy with both. The dryer has a wide variety of settings to meet every laundry need. Stacked it is still large but fits perfectly in our limited space. It seems to be efficient and quiet and works flawlessly. The reversible door is just what we needed to make it work in our space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Dryer, blower assembly might be broken

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought gas version from Sears. Really tremendous dryer, and companion washing machine is great, too. Steam option works wonderfully...really the best units you can by from a performance standpoint.
We do have some issues getting the setup to not be extremely noisy on the second floor. We also will soon put a call in to a licensed Electrolux repairman...the dryer has begun to make a grinding sound, which after research, I believe to be the blower assembly.

In love with my new dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with my new dryer, it not only performs better than expected but I am in love with the steam refresh setting. I purchased new curtains and popped them in and this setting removed the deep wrinkles from being packaged like a charm!

Issue with Washer Already

I brought this product in June 2016 and in July 2016 I had to call and request a service on the machine. I came home from and my laundry room was full of water. My husband check the hoses to ensure proper connection, however there is a leak under the machine! I am waiting for the repair person to come out and service the machine!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stylish Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first Electrolux purchase and I chose the product mainly on the recommendation of the sales associate. Actually, all of the employees of the appliance store I shop at use Electolux washer and dryers. I have had them for about 3 weeks now and I am very happy with them both. The functionality of the machine was of course important to me but so was the style as most people enter my house through the laundry room so I wanted a machine that looked nice. These machines certainly fit that criteria. I purchased the steel grey color and I very much like the way they both complement my laundry room. The machines are quiet and they do the job well. I also like the quick wash and dry feature as well as the sanitize feature that easily takes the stink out of athletic clothing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Continuing problems

This dryer was purchased and within 1 month the belt was burned out. We were told there was too many clothes in it which was hard to believe given other dryers used. After fixing the belt, it happened again when 2 bath mats were being dried. Hardly overloaded. It appears that there is something within the design that allows items to get stuck in between the spinning drum and there is no mechanism for the dryer to stop so it just keeps trying to turn. I have been extremely disappointed with this given that it is now less than 5 months old we were told from the appliance store that this was one of the better options.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
