Attractive, Convenient, Practicable, Easy to Us

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this, along with an Electrolux washer, on the advice of my daughter-in-law. She did a lot of research and found Electrolux to be the best. She has enjoyed hers for about a year. No problems, whatsoever.

Does a good job drying clothes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washer/dryer has been used approximately one month. Cleans well. The clothes sometimes fall out of the machines when the doors are opened, as the clothes are stacked against the door when the machines are finished with their cycle. Don't particularly like the design of the door with the inside sloping line to the door gasket. This allows dust and debris to get into the tub.

Lots of choices!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer in May and needed time to use it before I did this review you sent me just a few weeks after I bought it. I would give this a 5 star rating except I dont like the dark background you put behind the words on the dryer and when you turn on the dryer only the little round light next to the specific cycle lights up but not the words. I find it very hard to see those words unless it is well lit. I recently dried some of my nice sweaters and was very surprised how nice they came out. None of them shrunk as some did with my old dryer. I also like the refresh cycle that takes your lightly worn clothes and freshens them up to wear again,. Then there is the steam cycle. Love that as well which gets out the wrinkles. Also like the fact that it has an led light inside that goes out after a few minutes if you leave the door open.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just ok.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doesn’t seem to dry very well. Have to repeat the cycle on several occasions. Lint screen is a very bad design. So difficult to get all of the lint out of the chamber that collects it. Have already had to remove the grate with a screwdriver, just to get in there and clean all of the lint out..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gwyne, I regret to hear of your challenges with drying times and lint with your new dryer. Occasionally a waxy build-up may form on the lint filter and/or moisture sensing bars from using dryer-added fabric softener sheets or fabric softener. To remove this build-up, wash them with warm, soapy water. Dry the filter thoroughly and replace (page 18 in your Owner’s Manual). Do not operate the dryer without the lint filter in place. Please verify the ducting in your home follows the limitations and standards found in the installation instructions. Every 18 months an authorized servicer should clean the dryer cabinet interior and exhaust duct. These areas can collect lint and dust over time. An excessive amount of lint build-up could result in inefficient drying, and possible fire hazard.
