One of my favorite features is the timer, I can throw clothes in at night, set the time to an hour before my husband gets up so they aren't sitting in there wet all night. He throws them In the dryer and they're done by the time I leave for work! Quiet and seems to be very efficient as well!

Originally, I didn't buy the platforms, because I like to fold the laundry on the top of the washer and dryer. After about a month, I bought the platforms. The washer was too deep to crawl into to retrieve the clothes. Works really well.

BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Electrolux washer and dryer. The fast wash makes my life so much happier. It is all you need for regular worn clothing. I spend so much less time doing laundry now. My clothes are so much cleaner than with my last washer and dryer. I find myself watching the entire 15 minute cylce.....I just love them!!!

Mostly does it's job

The power button is touch sensitive and when I have dry hands I have to press it a couple of times to turn in on. I would have rather a physical button. It will sometimes not dry clothes all the way. The chime to alert you that the cycle is complete is very annoying. And, the dryer ruined my bath mats. Matts with rubber bottoms gets stuck between the blades and the side of the dryer causing them to rip and for the dryer to stop. I have used several other dryers in my live and this has never happened to my in the past. I think that it is due to a poor design where there is too much space in-between.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I also feel that the permanent press clothes come out with less wrinkles. I also am very satisfied with the selection of cycles. It is also an energy star product and I am seeing a cost savings!

I want to love it...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dryer as a pair with the matching washer, to replace an almost 20 year old set that finally died. They have every feature I could possibly want and then some. However after only 2 months I have already had to call for warranty work. Our dryer kept getting louder and louder, like a vibration we couldn't find. The technician said it was "lint build up in the dryer blower housing" and told me I need to "make sure and clean the lint screen". I am rather compulsive about cleaning the dryer screen EVERY time and I have noticed this dryer produces MUCH less lint than my previous one. I am so nervous the problem is going to happen again, and I am now taking a toothbrush to my screen (which I know is ridiculous) to make sure I get every speck. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, I really want to like this dryer but....

Oh no! montanakate, I am sad that your ice maker needed service so soon and unexpectedly. However, I am glad that the matter was taken care of under your warranty coverage. If I may suggest instead of the toothbrush, gently washing the lint screen with mild dish detergent once a month or so. Make sure you rinse it well and let it dry thoroughly. Sometimes dryer sheet residue can build up on the screen blocking the air flow. I would also advise you to regularly inspect the outdoor exhaust opening and remove any accumulation of lint around the opening and in the surrounding area. Page 21 in your Owner’s Manual has some good trouble shooting tips also. We are here if you need us.
