disappointed with this dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are aging in place and I bought this washer and dryer to place on my second floor. It is extremely difficult to see the settings. They do not light up to see the words. What are other people saying?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Carol K, I am dismayed to hear your dryer is not as you expected. Please ensure the blue protective film has been removed from the control panel (your installer may have done this for you). While the words do not light up, there are indicator lights by each choice that do. Perhaps an additional light source would be an option to help you with seeing the settings. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Elextrolux washer and dryer are smart, efficient, and attractive! These machines replaced another "strong" competitive brand in our home. We are super pleased with their performance this far. Our laundry comes out of the washer almost dry from an efficient sounds cycle. As a result, drying time has been cut in half. We haven't used every special feature to date, but we are in love with the 15 min wash cycle! Worth the money!!!
