[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the Electrolux washer and dryer to replace an older top loading washer and regular dryer that came with our house. Due to the configuration of our laundry room, we needed the doors to open opposite of what is standard, and Electrolux was one of very few that could do that. The Electrolux 617 dryer is easy to use yet has a variety of cycles and options. I recommend reading the manual to understand things like the difference between "wrinkle release" and "extended tumble" so you can use options to your advantage, and also to know that fabric softener sheets used during steam cycles could stain your clothes. I do wish there were shorter time options on the "Time Dry Cycle" (30 minutes is the shortest). I usually choose "auto dry", but if the load isn't quite dry at the end of the cycle and I choose "auto dry" again, it seems to go much longer than needed, so a 10 minute time dry would be nice. Fortunately this doesn't happen often. I love that the window of the doors are clear rather than heavily tinted like so many now. Overall it's a great dryer.

Great Dryer!
