[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 of these monitors that I use everyday. Great for multitasking and having chat up while watching twitch.tv. This is my 4th monitor however, the most recent replaced one that died on me suddenly, hence the 4 out of 5

Looks good, but...

However its downfall is that it has volume control included with the monitor, but there are no speakers whatsoever on the monitor. Okay, that isn't a complete deal breaker most hook up speakers to their monitors anyway. What really got me was the monitor is advertised as 75hz. Which technically it is (in lower resolutions) not in native 2560×1080. To obtain the 75hz refresh rate at the native 2560×1080 resolution you have to overclock the monitor. Most considering a higher hz monitor are looking for a fps (frames per second) boost for gaming on games that use Vsync.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was so thrilled that I purchased it also for my private use. I recomend it to every one. Price and Quality is superb.

Refresh Rate and Audio?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For those who are looking for 75Hz, yes this monitor has 75Hz refresh rate but it is only applicable for some resolution like 1280x800. So, for 2560x1080 only 60Hz can be achieved. And as for the Audio, there is no speaker inside the monitor guys. This type of monitor is has its own jack at back because of the hdmi as we all know also transfers audio data. As if you want to connect your speaker beside your monitors it is more convenient to connect it rather than to connect it to your distanced computer.

Nice monitor, when it works that is

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the original about sixteen months ago. Then last fall it started to flicker, REALLY flicker! It is intermittent, but I've put in back in it's box, store it in my closet. I'm going to call them tomorrow, but don't expect much help.
I've been kicking around the LG 55" OLED, but given my experience with the 29UM58 causes me to wonder if LG just makes unreliable TV (and monitors).

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
