For years I worked off a small screen with OK resolution. Finally I replaced my monitor with the Lg model. It has a great picture and I really utilized the split screen features almost daily. I love the headphone feature because I don't need to turn on speakers every time I'm on the PC.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second LG monitor. I am very impressed with its image quality. Especially the glossy screen surface, make it looks more crystal clear, which is extremely perfect for watching movie. The color is perfect with super contrast. Overall quality is nice. Design is beautiful. Metallic back cover is a plus, but that makes the monitor too heavy.

Dead Pixels Out of Warranty

Was okay to start, I did have issues initially due to the stand not providing enough stability causing the monitor to rock very easily, (had to add two supports on each end), but now a a little over a year and a half in and dead pixels have started to appear. The first few were on the outer edge and non-obtrusive but now I have a patch nearly dead center in the screen and the 1 year warranty expired just before they started to appear.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
