For instance, althoough the the time of day is displayed clearly at the bottom, right side of the taskbar, the date is off screen -- not visible. Perhaps there is an adjustment for this problem, but I have not discovered it if there is. The screen resolution is at the recommended value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor was on sale when I bought it, but even at regular price, it is a very good value -- very large, so it holds a lot of content on the screen (or can project content large enough for older folks to read), very clear, very easy set-up, and the controls are so simple - one button does it all - excellent! I don't do much gaming, so I can't speak to that, but for business-based applications, rather than having 2 monitors, I love that I can have two spreadsheets open on the same screen without having to drastically reduce their size and readability -- that was my goal and this monitor definitely delivers.
