Very poor performance

This must be a very old generation of products. Problems I had from start is that it would auto select to TV regardless of what was the last device selected or where the signal is coming from. I have my FiOS (cable TV) connected to HDMI2 but when I turn it on along with the TV it may stay on HDMI2 for like 30 seconds and then switch to TV port automatically. I have nothing connected to the TV port. Tech support advised this is by design and cannot be changed. Next big problem I have is that from time to time it drops packets and then it goes back to normal. It seems like it empties the buffer. Whatever it is the video freezes for about 2 seconds and sound is lost also for about 2 sends. Next problem is that sound starts crackling and the only way to get rid of it is if I turn off the unit and then turn it back on. Very annoying.
Cons: Poor quality, Too big, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does not link well with DirecTv box. Sub Woofer is weak. Two months after warranty expired I have issues with it making a pop noise then no sound. Must turn off unit and restart to correct. Guess I should have purchased their extended warranty!
Cons: Did not meet expectations, broke after 14 months, anynet does not work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good But Has Its Flaws

The design of the receiver is beautiful and looks very slick but it has flaws.
To plug in the speaker wires, you use these dials and stick the wires into them. Good idea but bad execution. The separation between the positive and negative wires isn't enough and unless you have really small and nimble fingers, it will be a challenge.
I bought speaker mounts ahead of time and didn't realize that they weren't single bolt mountable. Looks like I have to get a keyhole mount or something similar to that to mount them to my walls.
