I love the upgrades between the phones. My biggest issue is battery life and open apps. I would like to see apps close when not in use. And battery life to last all day no matter the use.
Cons: speaker for music is lower than previous phones, expensive

Upgrade From An S3

Went from an S3 with 16GB to an S5 with 32 GB. Bigger and brighter screen.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: no zoom for camera

Love my Samsung S5 But...

I love my new Samsung S5. It's display is bright and clear, looks high def if it's not. Spectacular. But the one thing I love is baseball and I have the MLB @Bat app and I like listening to games streamed via this app. On this phone, it's choppy. I haven't had it long and haven't had the time to investigate yet what the cause is. It sounds like it's buffering, cutting in and out. I didn't have this issue on my old phone in the same network. That's becoming a bit frustrating, but that's the only draw back so far.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: streaming audio choppy

Liked my S -III Better

Although the camera is much better, the phone is also much bulkier than my Galaxy S-III. The sleeker design is more important to me that the great camera.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Too big
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice phone but tricky to get texts when coming off an iPhone

The phone is great and a real asset for work however having been on an iPhone previously I have had difficulty getting text message replies due to Apple's iMessage feature which screws with the reply if it falls in an existing message string. Not Samsung's issue but an Apple controlism.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
